I highly recommended! My daughter just turned four in June, I was determined to get her potty trained, I took a week off of work and used this system for a week and it worked. It was very easy to use, my daughter enjoyed the card rewards, book and the doll. I would recommend. I will say, I think it's a bit expensive"¦ but for me it was so worth it!!

My two year old niece had gotten to the point of letting everyone know when she was going to the potty, but would refuse to use the toilet or her potty training toilet. For some reason she was afraid to sit on her potty training toilet or the standard toilet. My sister had tried a lot of things and was becoming very frustrated. A friend told me about this product and so I ordered I one for us to try.

We were very impressed. Everything looked exactly like it was pictured and the Katie doll was super cute and soft and it's my niece's favorite doll now. Anyway, the toy potty was perfect because my niece got to role play with the doll by putting her on the potty herself and pretending the doll was peeing.

After playing with it for a few hours the first day, my niece agreed to try and sit on her potty training toilet. Although she was still a little scared and she didn't go in the toilet that night, she at least got up on the toilet!

The next morning she woke up and wanted to play with her new doll and by lunch SHE ASKED TO USE HER OWN POTTY!! She loved the reward cards with the surprise activities. My sister and I are thrilled with the results. Literally the third she wanted to try the "big girl toilet" (the standard toilet).

This was money well spent on a tired momma and her toddler.

We had slow and mixed results with potty training on our own.
Our baby loves going potty with the doll and showing the doll how to use the potty.
The only down side is how hard it is to take off the dolls clothes (our baby insists that doll takes off clothes to go potty as well).
The dolls are... more anatomically correct than I expected. Which, in a strange way helped. Our toddler point to the doll to say where pee and poo comes from. And wipes the dolls butt after going potty just like you're doing to your own child.
We help 'wash' the dolls hands after to keep the doll from becoming a sponge at the bottom of the sink.
Overall, we have had a lot less accidents.
The cards aren't as effective as a surprise award. Our baby loves 2 or 3 of the cards and goes thru the whole pile looking for them. Which is fine, serves it's purpose as a reward.
But, as a whole, it's been super helpful.

This has helped my daughter so very much! It helps keep each trip to the potty fun and fresh. She doesn't like to stop playing but we use the doll as her reason "Dolly has to potty" and it helps her stop and go without a fight. She loves the book and we read it every single time we go. Our new puppy ate hers and they sent a replacement so the customer service is phenomenal!!! Love this product and seller.

Our 3 year old son has been very hesitant to start using the potty. He kept saying, "˜I'm not ready yet!' When we would suggest it. We purchased a little potty for him 8 months earlier than had literally become part of the bathroom decor as he wouldn't go near it. One night I completely ran out of diapers... I had bought more that day but could not find them ANYWHERE. I was planning to start using Tot on the Pot that coming weekend but out of sheer panic I thought, welp why not try now? After his bath I talked to him about our diaper dilemma and pulled out Tot and the "˜I don't want to!' underwear I had hoped would motivate him to ditch the diaper. He was very resistant and I let him get out his emotions. He yelled and threw his underwear around his room. After he settled down I read the book to him that came with the kit. He was intrigued and started to get into it so we read the book again. After a little while he asked to get dressed. I reminded him that we didn't have diapers (we would need to go back to the store to get them) so he would have to put underwear on before getting dressed if we were to go to the store. He agreed. SUCCESS! I then ventured on to ask if he would like to just try sitting on his potty like Tot... he said yes! He asked for privacy and a few minutes later i heard, "˜MAMA I DID IT!!' He went peepee! We celebrated and played the cute card games (that's his favorite part of the kit). We then headed to the store for more (now just for nighttime) training-pants and a little treat! He was gushing with pride! When we told the clerk about our evening she gave us the training pants for free as a little congratulations gift! He now refuses to wear diapers and only wears training pants at night. Even at preschool he uses the potty now! He's still a little nervous to go #2 in the potty but I have no doubt that will have that down in no time. This is a cute, fun, and very simply potty training kit and I highly recommend it! The time it took start to finish to get my son to wear underpants and go peepee for the first time in his potty was less than an hour! And our son is not an easy going kid... I was fully expecting this not to work for him, but it turned out better than I expected! Thanks Tot!!
