I installed a set of these OPT7 rock lights on my 2017 F-250. They are built out of aluminum, and look very tough and rugged. Installation was easy enough. I was adding wheel well liners as well, so I was able to bolt them on first, then install the liner.
Wiring was all plug and play, but I did cover the wiring all up in split loom, and covered up all the connectors as well. I ran everything up into my engine compartment, where I was able to mount the control box, and wire them to one of my upfitter switches.
The Bluetooth controller has worked flawlessly, and I like the option of going with either white or a variety of colors, all controlled from the app.
I like the fact that there are two lights per pod, but still wish they could be brighter. That aside, I think that they look good, either off or on, and are a nice addition to my truck.

UPDATE***
I bought another set, so a total of 8 rock lights, wired them up so that they turn on all at the same time. They are SUPER bright now. Some colors are more dull than others but that's how it goes I guess. Only complaint I have, as stated before, is that the remote is kinda crappy and only works when it wants to. Works about 90% of the time. I'm not sure if there is interference from the control boxes being mounted in the engine bay, but it seems like the remote doesn't communicate very well. Other than that, no complaints! White picture is with both kits on. Gave 4*'s with the consideration of the poopy remote.

Great quality for the price and brightness! Not the most expensive lights, but they don't need to be! The housings are made of metal with a nice clear sealant over the led's themselves. Great way to keep the moisture out! Rubber grommets for installation, which you don't necessarily need to use, but will help with keeping the lights in good shape. Plenty of wire to do a crew cab truck, even with a long bed. ONLY issue I have with the kit, is the remote. Just doesn't seem to want to work all of the time. HOWEVER, that could be due to the control box placement. I'm gunna try moving it to a more open location and see if that helps. All in all, a great kit for the money! Definitely going to be buying another set to really make my truck scream!!

Amazing product, built quality is very good, really good light output, APP is very easy to use, I would definitely recommend this product.
Update-
first off all I want to say I love this product and the company. The customer support team is just amazing very nice, understanding, easy to work with and helpful. So I bought this product and the Quantum Pro control box stop working a month later I emailed the Opt7 customer service team and told them what had happened and I told the what I think is wrong and they listened and sent me a new Quantum Pro control box and my issues was fixed. This was the best and the most easiest experience I had ever to get my problem fixed. They are the best and I'm a customer for life and I recommend this product if everyone is looking for rock lights for their car. If you want the best you have to buy the best and Opt7 product and the people at Opt7 are just that #1.

The media could not be loaded. These rock lights are pretty good for 80$ especially when considering there are others that are selling for 200$ plus. These drew me in because of the rgbw feature where there is four led chips red, blue, green, and also white unlike other rock lights on amazon. This extra white chip is the true white and not creating the rainbow effect on rgb only lights. Other feature that sold me was the fact that there was two leds on each pod which is essentially a two pod per wheel set up and provides a much brighter light. Although these don't come with Bluetooth features the design alone is superior to their cheaper Bluetooth version.
Cons-
All the cables didn't have to be like 10 feet long since I mount my control box in the engine bay next to the battery, the pods in the front especially the one closest to the battery, had a ton of extra wiring that makes it unnecessary messy during installation and you can't just cut it and crimp it to a shorter length since it is rgb lights. Although I had no problem hooking this up since I work on engines regularly, there seems to be some confusion on the constant 12v wire and the accessory 12v wire. The wiring that comes directly out of the box is an accessory wiring and should be connected to a ignition source meaning that the lights will only work when the key is in the ignition. I just hooked both of my 12v wires straight to the battery with an in-line fuse, this allows me to turn on the lights even if my truck isn't running/key in ignition.

Overall I am impressed with the quality of the pods and the ease of installation and the fact that everything that is needed for a proper installation is included in the box. Although the lights seem of good quality and are very bright only time will tell if they last or not.

So first impressions as I ordered the rock lights and the truck underglow kit. Everything seems very well made and seems durable. The only complaint I have is that packaging should have had some sort of foam or plastic around it as the underglow bars the tabs at the end were bent on almost every single light bar. Probably not their fault was probably USPS or UPS throwing these around during shipping. Easy fix though with a pair of pliers could easily bend back to normal position. Also, I guess these were stored in a hot enough environment that the rubber insulation (on one of 36" light bars) around the wire was touching the aluminum housing and melted the insulation to where you could see the wires. I checked to ensure that the light would still work, which it does. However, I dont like it when I order a product and I immediately have to worry if its going to work or not. The other issue is yes the lights do come with (3) different fuse taps, but they dont fit the newer model vehicles. My truck requires Micro2 fuse taps and the sets did not come with one of these. I have contacted the seller and they state they will be providing the fuse taps so hopefully those come soon as I have already waited over 2 weeks due to COVID. I did test the lights and they seem very very bright in the daylight, so I can hope at night they are very bright. I will be doing a follow up review to see if the seller does provide the Micro2 fuse taps, and hopefully replace the 36" bar with the wire that has the melted insulation. I will also provide a detailed review on how to install on a RAM 1500 truck and provide pictures of the finished product. I have used OPT7 for many years and have never been disappointed, I am hoping they will fix my issues with this shipment.
I think for the money you cant beat the quality and brightness, for installation I cannot comment as I dont have the correct parts to install at this time.
