Easy Install, Great Finish, Mostly Metal & Excellent Water Pressure!

Wow, what a product! After searching the big box stores for a shower head, all I could find were items that were made of mostly plastic. This Hammerhead Shower head is mostly metal (only the waterspout tips are silicone type, so they can be cleaned). The brushed nickel finish was exactly what I was looking for. High quality metal wand, hose and connection. Installation was easy; I didn't need to change out any washers like others have posted (maybe the company made the corrections) - the water pressure is excellent!!! Can't speak highly enough - very pleased. Note: the instructions do say to use the included teflon tape, however, it is not included. Great job HammerHead Showers!

This showed did not work well for me. The quality and craftsmanship are very good but I could only get a weak stream of water no matter how I installed it (with or without the filter).

Alright. This is by all appearances a very high quality item. Everything is metal and not cheap pot metal. The fabrication seems top notch. Installation was a simple proposition and I can see purchasing another for a different bathroom in the home. Now, for the few nits I have to pick that detracted from a "perfect experience". Simple stuff, really. The "included" teflon tape was nowhere to be found. Add to that, the two green washers that were included are of the restrictive variety and I would prefer higher flow. Two standard washers would provide that option for me at a negligible cost to the manufacturer. So not having any available I set it up with the included washers. Not really pleased with the flow and although I can change it, it detracts from the one and done feeling of throwing it together and using it. So bravo to the maker for providing a high quaity option to the verpriced and over complicated junk out there by really, pay attention to the total customer experience and don't tell customers things are provided that aren't. It's frustrating and for the novice plumber, perhaps confusing.

BEST shower head we have ever bought. This is a TRUE shower head not an over priced multi-head with no pressure . Light weight and clean design. Don't waste your money on the multi-heads they are all over priced plastic. A must if you wash pets, nice long hose and enough pressure to get all of shampoo out of their hair.
This is a great product at the price. Simple, solid and well designed.

There were 2 small problems that do not detract from it (in my opinion):
- It came with 2 green washers that constrict the flow too much. The washers are not black as in the photo and have a much smaller inner diameter.
I simply cut out the center of the washer with an x-acto knife. Now the flow is fast and there are still no leaks at the joints. It would be good to see 2 different kinds of washers included. The flow with the green washers was much too weak and I would have returned it if it wasn't so simple to fix. (Please let me know if you think this modification is not a good idea).
- The instructions mention teflon tape that was not included. Not a big deal. I have teflon tape.
My version came with the black washer and screen at the fitting between the holder and the wall pipe. The presence of the screen has little or no effect on the flow.
