Delicious variety

Bought for my husband for Christmas gift. Delicious, all had nice subtle distinct flavors. Would be a great gift for honey fans.

This is a fun set, but is more for someone not familiar with variations in honey. I was disappointed that the bottles weren't well sealed; three of them leaked just enough to be sticky messes, and one leaked at least a teaspoon into the box. This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 out of 5 stars.
I use honey daily in tea -- this review is filtered thru that lens -- and there are great variations in flavor.
The honey in this set is refined and very high quality. I'm partial to eucalyptus honey, and while I suspect many people would find the flavor jarring, at least at first, this version is relatively mild and smooth. The taste of macadamia nuts was strong and unmistakable with the macadamia honey, something I didn't expect, but I've not tasted many nut-based honeys. I was surprised at the distinct flavor of the sunflower honey, and the clover was overwhelmingly clover. Mimosa and orange blossom are both fruity and IMHO better suited to herbal teas, but all can be used nicely with any tea, black or herbal, depending on one's mood.
Overall this is a nice set and I recommend it as a gift item to anyone who enjoys honey.

Packaging
Erin Grosz•January 27, 2018
I loved the honey but they packaged it horribly and all my honey was out of the plastic container and two honeys spilled. So I won't be buying these very expensive honeys again to have another chance for them to be all over the box and the other honeys. Had to clean all of them down.
