I like this desktop light. I researched and gave this one a try and it's great. One thing that people may find interesting is the on/off method. You have to get used to it and you basically tap your index finger and it turns on and off as needed. You then just slide your finger in the circle around the on/off button to increase the intensity of the light - it has six settings along that circle. Haven't had it long, but I like it and had I had it for a couple years and then did this review then I'd give it a five star if no problems encountered, but since it's so new ain't gonna do that. I def recommend it if you decide it's the right fit for your purposes. :-)

i like the fact that this lamp is almost like a touch lamp because the power button is big and it's in the middle, easy to locate because it's lit up, also. i also don't like the fact that it's lit up, because i sleep best with total darkness. i solve that by putting something over it, but it would be great to have a switch to turn off that "red eye locator" light. like the fact that the light goes up to different levels, but prefer the saico for the different shades of light and more versatility. small footprint is nice and it's sleek. falls over sometimes tho if i have it bent too far forward, but it's a great reading light because it can go right over the book.
