Like these Plastic? Filters better than the meleatta papar discs because they let more liquid flow faster which keeps the basket from overflowing and keeps the grounds out of the pot. They are also easier than paper to pick out a single disc. They are plenty big approx 3 3/4in while the paper discs just barely cover the holes on the bottom. These and the paper both do a good job of filtering the fine coffee grinds. My biggest issue since trying an elec perk has been the pots overly aggressive percolation which overwelms the basket since it can only drain so fast and the grounds overflow into the pot. These filters allow me to bre 10 cups rather than just 8 using paper. This is the fault of the pot not the filters but these filters do flow faster😀
