So much better than period panties
Laura Perkins✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 25, 2023
These are SO much better than the period panties!! I am plus size and I sit for work all day long. The period panties doesn't provide correct coverage for my life and I was constantly leaking... BUT these have solved my issue!

It did take a moment to get used to the moveable pad as they only snap shut around your panties, but that was only a slight adjustment when pulling down panties in a rush.

I am used to the pad following the panties but these slide a bit so I had to pull my panties down further so I didn't accidentally pee on them as I sat. This might just be me though as I have a weak bladder and sometimes have to rush to get to the toilet in time.

These pad absorb SO much liquid I was astonished! As I was rinsing them out more and more and more blood kept coming! This makes it hard to tell how heavy your flow is, but at least I didn't have any leaks. I didn't feel the difference in "bulkiness" than any other heavy flow pad either.

I have used them twice and washed twice... No odors during use or after wash and they are so simple to use.

I 100% recommend these.
A great option for your cycle needs

I was looking for a more eco friendly option for my menstrual needs and because I stopped using tampons due to my endometriosis. I get a UTI or yeast infection whenever I use regular pads no matter what brand, I have a theory it has to do with the materials they are made with. I had previously tried a menstrual cup with disastrous and disgusting results and vowed to never try them again. I saw these reuseable pads on a YouTube channel and after thoroughly researching the product I decided to give them a try. I'm happy to say they worked out so far and I find them better than disposable pads. I haven't had the same itching or burning I get with the disposable pads. They hold a lot of fluid, definitely a lot more than a disposable but at the same time they keep you pretty dry. I thought it would be disgusting to use and change but you actually don't really see the fluid. Disposable pads are grosser. I don't rinse them before washing I just throw them in the wash with the presoak option and they come out fresh and clean. A size large is slightly bigger than a regular pad and fits my needs. I'm definitely going to buy another set so I won't have to be washing the pads repeatedly during my cycle. I figured it would be easier to wash them all when I'm done. Also wanted to mention, if you wash them well there's no smell. Overall, give them a try, it doesn't hurt

Love them, they are great for starting out and very affordable. I did dock a star because sometimes they do slip a little or leak over the side but just a tiny bit. So much more comfortable than normal pads and they don't smell. Also you will have to watch them a few times before they have full absorption
I’ll never go back to Disposables

Love these, I'll never go back to regular disposable pads again. I haven't had any leaks since I got these, so absorbent. They are a nice dark color so the blood isn't as noticeable and gross to look at. I rinse it out after use and throw it in with the rest of the laundry. Hasn't left any stains yet. The material is so comfortable, not as scratchy as the disposable ones, no rashes either. They fold up real tight when your on the go and come with a waterproof bag to store them. They have no smell when they're dirty, which is awesome, and don't leak in your bag. You also save a lot of money throughout the year, not to mention you don't have to deal with the smelly trash anymore. Also they are Eco-friendly which is important to me to reduce the amount of waste I produce. This is such a great thing and I wish I had know about it sooner.

I purchased this because my sister and i are trying to be more eco conscious.

It felt really comfortable and i didnt ever feel like it was sliding around too much or that it needed adjusting. It felt just like wearing normal underwear, no chaffing, no rubbing, nothing.

Be wary though, it may feel too deceivingly comfortable.

I have a routine with how often i change my sanitary pad in a day and i think my cycle was a inordinately heavy one, so there was a day where i had an overflow situation. With the darkness of the absorbing pad, its not entirely clear HOW full the sanitary pad is, so it was hard for me to pinpoint if i needed to change it already. Aside from the lack of visual alarm, you can't really feel the weight of the pad, unlike the disposable ones where you can feel how full it is.

If it's your first time using these pads, please don't jump in directly without having any backups. In my experience, i underestimated how many pads i needed. I didn't do the math well at the start of my period and didn't realize how many pads i really needed throughout my whole cycle, given that i had to factor in washing the pads and waiting for them to dry. By the second day, i had used all mine up and had to temporarily

I had bought a mini washing machine and a drying/iv sterilizing machine for me and my sister to use for this and all our eco friendly items (sanitary pads, reusable cotton rounds, bottles, straws etc), so, for us, cleaning and ensuring the sterilization of the pads weren't a big problem.

Its a good idea to soak them in mild soap for a few hours for the staining. After rinsing them and draining them twice, just throw them into the washing machine. After that, have them dried and sterilized, and you're all good.
