Most of time I become excessively sleepy after lunch, to the extent that I can fall into sleep while I am standing. Horrible. I tried close to 100 different herbs in the past decade because no any doctors can or willing to help me on this. Most of the herbs I tried are useless or have side effect, or worked for a while then start to have side effect, a few of them works but not so well, until I start to take this green tea capsules. It solved my problem maybe 95% of time. I simply open the capsule and drop the power into my drinking water every day, started from half capsule, now a full capsule daily. No any side effect and I also feel more energetic and easier to focus. The green tea bitter taste is actually good and it makes me drinking more water. A real life saver!

I have read all over the place that green tea is good for you! How many things can one person drink and a 24 hour. So I decided to make green tea the extract and drink water! I've only use this pill a couple of times and my experiences are mixed. The very first pill I took gave me abdominal cramps but not severe. I had about three bowel movements in a two hour time span. It wasn't like loose but fully formed waste. I have not use this product for any consecutive amount of time so I cannot speak about its benefits for weight loss or anything of that nature. I can tell you when you break the seal it smells like green tea..

... and I wasn't even trying to diet. Nevertheless, I lost 40 lbs in 3 months taking this egcg. Happened so fast that I lost 20 before I figured out what was causing the sudden loss!
A couple of caveats:
1. I ended up with elevated liver enzymes (ALT & AST). The doc told me to take it in cycles, like every other month, and drink lots and lots of water (ie, 4 bottles each day). Enzymes dropped and the lower back pain went away.
2. As a guy who loves his coffee and takes 5 green tea caps per day, I'm trying an egcg version that promises "Very Low Caffeine No Stomach Upset". If you're wondering how that's going... As I write, it's 12:47 a.m. (sigh)
A couple of caveats:

I used to drink a cup or two of coffee or have an "energy drink" in the afternoons, during the typical 3pm lull. I stopped drinking them entirely. I take one of the green tea extract (GTE) with breakfast and typically have a cup of coffee (not 2-3) and one in the afternoon and nothing else. I have not changed my lifestyle or dietary intake during the transition.
Result is I don't yawn, feel sluggish, or have the after effects/crash after drinking lots of coffee or an energy drink. I am sold and have been taking faithfully for nearly a year.
