This is a total game changer! I bought this and a slicer. I peeled and chopped a whole big of potatoes in less than 5 minutes. I absolutely LOVE this thing. My only regret is not buying it years ago. Everyone needs one of these in their kitchen.

The like my new Starfrit Rotato Express 2.0. I am using it plugged in with the power cord. I have not tested using it with batteries.
I peeled 10 pounds of small potatoes. Potatoes peeled well, hand trim top and bottom. No complaints about peeler. Larger potatoes would be better.
Next I peeled a few medium size apples. No complaints with the apple peeling.
My only concern is that the Rotato seems to be flimsy, like it will break easily. My old arthritic hands hope it lasts a long time.

I leave the potato skins on for two reasons, too lazy to peel by hand and know that the peelings contain extra vitamins. However, my husband prefers my potato salad to have peeled potatoes. This device is easy to use and peels in seconds, you just have to hand peel the very top and bottom. I love this and wonder why I didn't discover it sooner! I accidently ordered two of them so I gave one to my sister and she loves it too.
