The detachable solar panel solves many problems. No bright enough for a driveway, but certainly sufficient for a staircase or a walkway. Bright, white light. Easy to install with (supplied) screws and anchors. The plug from the solar panel to the light needs to have some weather-proofing around the connector. The wire also needs to be connected so it comes DOWN from the light; it now goes UP from the light making it inconvenient and more likely to have weather problems.

The small button that changes the lighting mode is convenient, but does not indicate what mode is set, so it's a trial and error process.

So far it is a Outstanding light with great vesatility

So far I like this light. I will be doing a review on youtube of the light. I think this light may be a versatile option to the InnoGear 30LED that I have really liked. I am testing the light now and so far so good. It is brighter than the InnoGear 30LED and its solar panel gives it much more mounting versatility since it can be placed 8 feet from the light. While Its solar panel is smaller than the innogears', it puts out almost as much power. Probably higher efficiency cells. Its battery is a robust 3000mAh 18650Li battery which should prove to be perfect for this light. The InnoGear, for instance, only had a 2200mAh Li battery. This light puts out 750 lumens verses the Innogear 30LED that puts out 450 lumens If you like the InnoGear 30 LED, you will like the versatility and power of this light in my opinion. I also like the cover over the LEDs that gives the light a less invasive light and so not as hard on the eyes. Great light so far........

I got this light for my back deck and mostly just use it on motion sensor mode. It turns on every time I walk out on the back deck and the LEDs are pretty bright. It has other settings that keep it on but dim until it senses motion. I put mine in bright sunlight but if you don't have direct sunlight you can remove the solar panel and attach it somewhere that gets more sun.
