I'm not a fan of shapewear, I don't normally wear it, but I'm getting married soon and my dress is a stretchy lace that kinda shows all the bumps from my bra line, etc. I got this after seeing an ad for Honeylove but no way was I going to spend the $80 or whatever for Honeylove. My main concern was having something high enough so that I don't show back bulge (strapless bra creates all kinds of bulges) and to smooth things out around my stomach. I don't have big rolls, just you know, the usual soft layer of fat around the mid-section. Anyways, super excited that this does the job! The color is more of an ivory/cream and really shows through my dress but I was able to use TEA to dye it---yep---black tea!!! And, my shaper is now a beautiful light beige. SOOOO, I'm super excited!!! Hope this helps someone--I'm 145lb, 36d, thick waisted think, boy body. I got the 4-6 size and label says size L. It fits perfectly! I bought this one bc I saw that the seller would send the right size if I got it wrong in the first place. Super happy that I got it right to start! Happy shopping!

This product was comfortable and seemed to have a good amount of control however, I needed a smaller size than what was sent.
I believe the problem is how the company tries to translate into American sizes. I ordered a size 12 and received a xxl so, I returned and ordered a 10 and received an XL...still too big. As an American 12 a large would have fit better but, I believe I would have to select size 8 for the company to translate me as a Large in this garment. Basically the problem is with the way the company is trying to adjust sizing where no need of size adjustment is needed. Order two sizes down to receive the correct size. The xl was wearable but, doesn't give much control due to being a bit big.
I can tell that the Large ( which I'll have to select size 8 to receive ) will be perfect.
Shape wear shouldn't be loose. Whoever has the job of translating sizes screwed up but, the product itself is good.
I also like that this is sexier than most shapewear.

UPDATE: I ordered size 6-8 and was finally sent a Large ... It's perfect! Great control but, still comfortable ...so slimming and sexy!
I recommend this product but, definitely size down 2 sizes because the company sizes 2 up when it doesn't need to!

I ordered this for an event, but I ordered the wrong size...but the overall comfort of it..although it was a tad bit too big. I sent it back and ordered the right size and when I tell you, I love, love love this body slimmer...and a great bargain
