These have been perfect for my raised bed gardens that have critter fencing. I recently added some deer mesh along the top of some to keep out the birds, and these hold them great, but also slide/ are easily removed to pull weeds etc. I also use them to hold a sheet to shade new plants from the harsh AZ sun. Will definitely use them in the winter to sustain the gardens during the cooler season.

Using these to make row covers for some of my herbs and such as freezing temps or snow have occasionally occurred as late as June in the past. Using 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe and 4 mil plastic sheeting. These clamps are easy to use and fairly easy to remove. They do better on straight pipe, but also do a good job on curved pipe. Clamps down over pipe and either a single thickness or a double thickness of plastic sheeting well. Only issue noted so far is that some of the clamps "pop" off in a strong wind storm such as occurred here about a week ago (25-40 MPH winds) due to the wind stress to the plastic sheeting. Otherwise these work well with 1/2" schedule 40 PVC pipe. I would purchase again.

These have only been installed for a few weeks and not subject to high winds or a long period of UV exposure but so far I love them. I have a homemade greenhouse with a frame of 1/2" (3/4" o.d.) EMT and covered with 6 mil clear plastic. The clips fit over the frame and plastic very snugly.They do require some "oomph" to get them on but I was able to cover the 6x8 foot structure quickly and by myself. I trimmed the plastic at the corners and it looks much neater than when I used to fold a large sheet over the entire frame. I spaced them about 2 feet apart at first, liked the way they worked , and ordered more to reduce the spacing to about 8-10" apart. We recently had a wet foot of snow with 15-20 mph winds and there were no problems. Time will tell about their long term durability.

I bought these for a low tunnel that I was constructing out of 1/2 inch EMT (metal conduit) 10 ft in length and a plastic covering. I had tried unsuccessfully to keep the plastic attached to the frame by using a combination of spring clamps and heavy rocks. But just wound up with torn or unattached covering. These Snap-on Clamps fit onto the EMT perfectly. When you snap one on, it is secure and will not be dislodged easily. But if you need to adjust it's position, Just lift at one end and then proceed to remove the clamp. The springs are pretty strong and I could see where some people may need some assistance with prying up one end. I am ordering two additional packs today to construct another low tunnel.
