The paper was okay, slightly textured. Good portable size. I personally don't have a problem with the exposed spine but the cover comes off completely, which is also something I expected. Overall solid sketchbook! I included a size comparison with the Moleskine 7"x10" craft cover sketchbook.

I haven't touched this book just because I already am in the process of finishing my other sketch book but so far I love the feel of the paper and the weight to this sketchbook, it's a really good size to so I don't have any trouble putting it in my bag. á••( á› )á•—

its alright. the cover is just a separate jacket over the pack of pages (it comes off and leaves you holding a glued stack of 200 pages). i use micron markers and it bleeds through a little. good price for the quality/quantity. good for mindless sketching. however, i would advise spending just a little more for a traditional moleskin for more serious drawing and doodling.
