wasn't too impressed by the quality of the steel - there was no documentation, etc., and no indication of manufacture...

however, it appears that these are good enough to cut soft aluminum - i cut two threads of 1/4-20 and although the handle of the die was kinda small, it worked...

i would not hold out any hope of using this set on steel..
