Best version of this outfit in its price range!

This outfit is the most accurate I could find in its price range. I'm sure you can find far better replicas of the Hogwarts uniform on Etsy, but for less than $20, I'm not complaining. Lots of versions of this outfit don't have the correct colors for the ribbon that lines the sweater, but this one does. The crest on the robe is very realistic too. If realism is important to you, the skirt is actually navy blue instead of grey, and the sweater is more of a crewneck/sweatshirt, but these details weren't as important to me. This also doesn't come with a wand, but you can buy a wand pendant from eBay and the like.
As for the quality, the socks were very snug, and the tie was too short to be easily manipulated. A pre-tied tie with velcro would have been better, especially for children. Overall, the fit was snug on my BeForever Kit. Not sure if this would have fitted on an older Pleasant Company doll.

Great for American Girl 18" Doll!

I bought this for my niece for her American Girl Doll. She absolutely loved it. The tie has to be tied like a real one, which I thought was cool, and so did my niece when I taught her how to tie it. The shoes fit well and the quality is great for the price. I would definitely buy this again.

This is really an authentic costume and even has the Griffindor emblem on the cloak. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the tie. It is not long enough to tie it as a proper tie. We were able to tie it around a thin necklace chain that attaches with a magnetic clasps in the back. Now it looks very realistic and is easy to take on and off. Shoes don't come with the outfit but they popped up as an additional item when you order the costume. I recommend getting the shoes as they complete the outfit very nicely.

I modified this a bit for my Disney animator Rapunzel doll and love it :-) Wonderful detailing on the Hogwarts patch which is on the fleece robe that lays well. The skirt was a bit long for my smaller doll but I knew that going in- it is meant for an American girl which is larger than the Animator doll I was using it for. Comes with all but the socks and shoes.
