These were so great for hiking!! The path we took had rocks, tree limbs, wooden bridge walkways, dirt, and small streams of water and they help up to the task! I would size up half a size if you're unsure, my kiddo is moving into a size 12 so I got that size and they worked but I wish I had gone half a size further as they would have still worked too and lasted longer!!

First off I pretty much only wear Merrill now. I have a very small foot. I wear 3.5 in kids and its hard to find any adult shoes in that size. I'm very happy to find such durable boots that are also water proof. The major plus is that they are very comfortable and super easy to slip on and off. When this pair wears out I am definitely buying another! These shoes are wide as well so you feet and toes are not squished. They will be too wide if you have narrow feet. The arch is fine since I have a pretty flat feet, but you can easily fit an insole in them for added comfort.
