This cover is a great and VERY easy to install option if you want to keep cold air from coming in through your window a/c unit. Definitely easier than putting plastic across the entire window to block any airflow, especially if you have pets (cats in particular) that will very likely end up putting a hole in the film trying to get on or to the a/c. Make sure you measure for height, width, and depth to make sure you get the right size. Some of these covers fit height and width, but are too shallow and barely cover the front of the unit and threaten to pop off at the slightest touch. But if you get the right size, these go on easily and don't look terrible at all. A much neater option than taping on a blanket and plastic bag, you know?

Because one of my air conditioner is too heavy to remove from the window, I leave it during winter. cold air comes thru no matter what. this cover does wonder.

I ordered this because I had misplaced the one I used last year.

This cover was doing a fair job of keeping my living room free of the icy winds from outside. But it worked much better when I finally located last year's, and added that on top. Then I had a double-ply cover, which is very effective. So I am glad I ordered it. The double-cover works so well. My first one looked just like this one but was brown.

HERE IS A HINT to placing the cover over your AC unit. I kept trying but it kept springing off the first corner each time I pulled it to get the second corner in place. (Think of making a bed with fitted sheet.) Then I took a wide piece of strapping tape and secured the top-center part of the cover to the AC front and the window. Then I pulled the left and right corners together, and they held place with no problem. Maybe you have an even better way to do it, but this worked for me.

It is not as snug as in the picture, but it does the job. I wish it was made out something stretchy for a neater look. It does the job anyway. I am also thinking about making a hole for the cord. The color is ivory, but look more like white than like beige.
