We just replaced our AC unit. We used to cover it with just blue tarp and put a wood log on top to leep it from blowing away. This cover fits like a glove with a side opening so whatever coils come out from the unit are not covered. I do wish the cover fit all the was down to the bottom of my unit, which is a 100,000 btu's. The other sizes would have been too big so this one was the best choice. You'll need to keep the exposed area around your unit free of dirt, plant life, doggies, examples of that. But for that, I am very happy with the purchase.
Should work for a couple years I think.

High Quality item, well made. The opening on one corner worked for the protruding pipes at the bottom corner of the unit. Unfortunately my dumb AC unit has conduit coming out at the top of unit, so I extended the slit in the cover by cutting the stitching, only to find the internal edges were already hemmed for me - good quality.
