The Websun Flickering Light Bulb is exactly what I was looking for. I have a gas light outside my house that recently we have had to make electric do to a gas leak. I miss the slight flicker we had with the gas light. With the Websun Flickering Lightbulb we get that back and still don't have to worry about future gas leaks. I really could not be happier with this lightbulb.

I have other flame bulbs, and each one is different. This one is more of a flickering led effect, and from the right angle on my lamppost in the yard it does look like a flame in the fixture. I was very tempted to give this less than 5 stars, until I looked at the listing again. It really does look just like the pictures. It looks cool in my lamppost - hoping it lasts a long time.

They look good when working. But, we put them in the lights flanking our garage, which means the bulb is upside down. They are extremely finicky and require lots of adjustments to get them to work correctly. The bulb has to be loose in the socket and positioned just right. The slightest vibration from the garage door or wind can change the effect.

Ordered two bulbs; although they came in identical packaging, the bulbs were obviously different (one was frosted much darker than the other and there were filters at the bottom of the bulbs that were markedly different). One didn't "flicker" but stayed at a fully illuminated setting no matter what we tried, or how many times we flipped the switch on-to-off, and the other didn't work at all. It was broken out of the box (arrived with the glass bulb separated from the metal screw thread/connecter and the filament exposed). Returned for a refund, as the products were defective and nothing like what was advertised.
