I bought two of these mats to cover my hardwood floors. I bought them to replace the interlocking grid mats that were worn and not staying together. The mats are a great size, and have a soft feel. They do not slip or slide when the kids are using them. I bought them to protect my floors during martial arts training with bo staffs and gymnastics type flips and so far the mats are working out very well. They look nice and can easily be rolled up if needed.

This mat is absolutely fantastic! It grips carpet very well, is great to use with shoes and allows for quick movement without the mat moving or lifting. Additionally, even though it's only a 1/4 inch thick it gives enough cushion for jumping and other HIIT exercises. I highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for a great all-around exercise mat!

I bought Gorilla Mats late last year because I was looking for good quality mats for my home gym. I have been working out to P90X, RUSHFIT and Body Beast at home for years . The weight of the mat and patterns on the bottom-side does a decent job at helping the mat stay in place during exercises. They're thick, durable and most importantly, I feel safe jumping on the mats when I do plyometric exercises! I also love the Gorilla logo on the mat (See picture).

So happy with this mat!! We have a concrete basement and really needed something to protect our knees when we work out. My husband is 6ft 4in and 220lbs and does all kinds training on this and it doesn't move! We have used tennis shoes on it and the material does not shred from the tread. Honestly am extremely happy and once we get our basement a little better organized, we will be buying another one!
