Finally convinced to purchase after trying out with a friend. Great no-impact resistance training. Easy to use at your own comfort level. The mesh cardio rebounder is of no use to me, but the optional pull-up bar is fantastic. I put the u-bar at the foot end and the pull-up bar at the head. Remove the shoulder bumps when doing pull-ups. I do sets on my back and stomach with different hand positions. I do leg and other arm moves also, but the pull-up bar alone is worth it for me. Also upgrading the hand straps, as the fuzzy covers it came with are bad. I keep it in front of my tv, yet out of the way, and hop on regularly to try out moves with different resistances, and to stretch, push, and pull. Middle-aged female who engages in moderate to strenuous outdoor workouts several times a week. I use this equipment almost daily as a way to stretch, flex, and relax. Also a tip, I put self-stick furniture slides under the legs so I can easily slide it where I want across carpet and hard wood.

I know everyone says that theses reviews are fake. I hope you can just believe me and trust this review! I have never wanted to write a review so badly and I usually don't! This is the GREATEST thing to happen to. me. I LOVE pilates- I loved going to the studio and I loved how I feel, how my back pain is less, how my posture is better, how my clothes fit due to the change in my body, my flexibility etc. Pilates is no doubt the greatest form of exercise. HOWEVER- With two jobs, two kids, pets, life, costs etc etc etc I never got to go the amount I wanted or needed and had to pause, unpause, and finally cancel my membership. This machine is the solution. I saw other great reviews first - which made me decide to give it a try.
A friend put it together who said it was very easy to assemble.. The minute I got on it I could not believe
my good luck. It was not quite as "smooth" as the professional reformers at the studio but so many things were the same including the tension in the cords, the movement, the ability to do all the exercises. I promised myself I would use it every day and I have. The only thing i will say is that I am pretty small- 5'2" and medium frame. I think if you were a larger frame and very tall it might be too small of a machine. I saw there were longer home reformers out there so don't give up the search. I also purchased better loops. the furry ones that come with it are "OK". but I like the double loop option so I picked that up. I also got a foam "box" . It is super light and works for almost all of the box exercises. This home reformer is a game changer for me. I highly recommend.

Well made and easy to use. My wife stopped using all other equipment once she got this and said it is by far the best exercise.

This is my second Aeropilates. I gave away my first one to a friend. This thing keeps me in shape like nothing else will. I don't like gyms and I don't like leaving my house to exercise. This thing addresses all my physical concerns. I have a very painful condition of fibromyalgia/sciatica. If I'm good and use this every day, it really keeps the pain at bay. It strengthens the core beautifully. So easy on the joints besause of the prone position. The back & forth action is so nice & comforting. Sometimes I just lie there rocking myself like a baby! This thing is worth every penny.

I don't know what some of these reviews are complaining about. I have always been active LOVE to exercise. I had an accident where many injuries kept me from doing things I loved. (Fully torn ACL for one) I wanted something that I could sweat really sweat doing as most cardio was now an issue. On a suggestion from ortho I ordered this. It's the best!. I started with the full intro DVD and basic workout, when done I was soaked loved it! I stayed on basic and stretch DVD until I got my routine and chord choices down for each type. After 2 weeks I could feel new muscle soreness (I LOVE THAT) my stature seemed elongated and more stable. My flow on machine became smoother and routine flowed. Somethings I needed to adjust positioning for limitations at first but slowly getting where I should be. My fav is the standing stretching, i.e. elephant and side legs. I am telling you this is a great machine. Cardio- once you get foot positions for your body I just put earbuds in and go! I did also got the neck pillow does make a difference.
