I am not one to ever write reviews, but I felt like I had to share. I absolutely love the product, but love Nick B and this company even more. I ordered a chalkboard and it was delivered with a pretty noticeable scratch in the top piece of the wood. I contacted Nick and HBCY Creations letting them know that I really was satisfied with the chalkboard but disappointed it got delivered with a scratch and if there was anything they could to do to send out a new one. Nick emailed me back in the same day apologizing about the defect and let me know that he already processed a replacement order that would arrive in 3 days. He also told me to keep my original chalkboard and to not worry about returning a bulky item since that would've been a hassle for me (which was super nice)! Moral of the story is that this company has terrific customer service, it was so easy on my part and hassle-free to get a new chalkboard. I will most definitely be ordering from HBCY Creations again. Highly recommend this product and company!!

I bought this for a historical society. It is a good size and has a nice rustic look to it. Wipes clean easily - even after leaving the chalk markers writing on it for over a week. I will probably get another one. It is not a real chalk board, so you would have to be careful getting it wet. But I don't know if anyone sells "real" chalk boards. Overall I think it is great
