We haven't had this chair very long but so far are very happy with it. It was easy to put together, we love the fabric and color. The lift works great and the oversized chair is perfect for my husband who sleeps in the chair a lot. I would recommend this chair to others.

I like this cover, but I didn't even know it was supposed to be water resistant. When the pup peed on it, it soaked in just like a regular blanket, but it didn't spread far, so that's why I gave it 2 stars on the water resistance question. It is very soft and easy to place on the chair, so 5 stars there. BUT, it is just like every other chair cover I have ever owned: the sides shift easily and the bottom flap moves whenever I sit in the chair. The price was okay, so I will use this until it gets worn out. Oh, and it washes up nicely and I can throw it in the dryer without it shrinking.
