I had read the reviews that the product stopped working very quickly, but it was so cool I was hoping this wouldn't happen to me. Sadly, within one hour of taking it out of the packaging, it no longer worked.

Really disappointed because the concept and the execution of the dino is very cool. They just need to improve the mechanics.

I bought this as a gift for a boy in our lives that loves loves dinosaurs. I didn't want to take the chance of it not being on the shelf at the local store. It arrived fine. We gave it to him on Sunday at 4 pm. Less than 2 days later the battery is dead. the parent has now had to go buy batteries which we hope is the issue. Really upset as this child has complex needs and just sending it back isn't easy unless I have one to replace it with immediately. I suggest you double check the batteries in these. He has several other ones that have lasted months already - so maybe it was just a bad one. Due to the news I am worried about returning an item and having my account closed and it is sad because clearly I paid for an item that is not working !

I am only giving this two stars because the few days it did work my son was in love with this fingerling. Even in public, people admired it. After a few days of operation it died and replacing batteries did not bring it back. As many other reviewers stated, this toy will die completely after a few days and it can't be fixed with batteries.
I would love to get it replaced like I saw someone else did on May 22, 2018, but I do not see this option available in Amazon, only refund.

This must be a new-production glitch as I'm having the exact same issue as everyone else: stopped working in about 30 minutes of use. I'm glad I didn't wast my time/money on batteries as they have been proven to be unrelated to the problem! I want to order a new one, but until they fix it, I don't think that's going to work.
