The product was exactly as shown. Quality fuel filter and clamps also included. Fuel pump assembly was correct but one of the hose line connections was cracked. I tried to glue it and reconnect but it completely broke off after doing so. I'm going to have to get another one again.

John Deere wanted in the neighborhood of $200 for a fuel pump to fit a John Deere 318. This one fit perfectly, pumps fine (fixed my problem) and cost about $15 including a new fuel pump.
It's a little smaller physically than the original, but the connections and the mounting holes are identical. The only issue I had installing it had nothing to do with the fuel pump; apparently John Deere forgot to put an access hole for one of the screws in the heat shield. Other than that it was quick fix.
I did have to prime it first time: hold a thumb over the PCV valve while cranking the motor for about 15-30 seconds, then quickly release. After that, it cranks first time every time.
