"Off" seems to work perfect with is great, but exactly where "off" is on the dial isn't quite the same spot all the time as there's too much play in the shaft the knob is attached to. The whole knob rocks a bit, haven't pulled the sticker on top off yet to see if there's a screw/bolt I can tighten to fix it.
Never used any others so I guess for the price you can't complain too much.

We got ours but unfortunately it was leaking on the first day. I put some bubble solution on some of the joints and identified the leaky location. It is the connection between the pressure regulator and hose. I hope they fix this defect.

Works as advertised. My two-ring grill came with a low pressure regulator that never produced a robust flame. There was a time when I thought it was because of low pressure levels in the tank or maybe spider webs in the line somewhere but this regulator solves the problem. To use it safely first turn the red pressure control valve completely off, then open the tank valve all the way and set the flame control knob on your grill to its start position. Now slowly crack open the red valve while lighting the flame. Once its lit set your grill control to its highest flame level and slowly open the red valve until the flame is a little more than what you think you'll need. I didn't need to open the red valve much at all to get a good flame.

Bought this item of my Masterbuilt propane smoker. The flame adjustments on the stock unit were absolutely horrible. Read a lot of reviews of people putting needle valves between the tank and the smoker but thought this would be a little easier. I works OK, you just need to really keep an eye on the flame when its that low as it can blow out quite easy. The good feature of this item is it seems to have a cut off feature of the flame does go out so propane is stopped. Better than your stock regulator but not perfect

I bought this to replace an inconsistent automatic regulator on my BBQ. I could have gotten the smaller PSI one I've found out, but this one works perfectly, almost too good. I can really crank up the flames for quicker preheating and cleaning of the grill, then dial it down to just a trickle to maintain my temperature for a consistent BBQ. Thanks!
