I've given synthetic blend tablecloths to my mother for our huge gatherings and they lasted for decades. I expect this'll be better, because it won't be used as much. I'm hoping it doesn't need ironing. To me it had a sheen and looked like plastic. Not satin. That should go in the first washing. The recipient loved it and it looked great with her old fashioned china and the food.

At this time, I can tell you this tablecloth is beautiful and the fabric luxurious, although I could not use it for Thanksgiving it ended up out of stock, I was offered the choice of canceling my order but wanted this so bad for Thanksgiving I kept the order, there's always next year. After searching for a tablecloth in the size and price I needed I could find none that compared and am thrilled with my decision and choice, the tablecloth is beautiful!
