Loose hardware

Item came with no cardboard packaging and partially assembled. Hardware had loosened and some loose bolts were left with package. Had to to buy $12 worth of nuts and bolts to assemble. That said, it works well for pine straw and cones. No so much for dead leaves.

This item is came packaged in a shipping case made of angle iron, everything arrived as ordered without any damage. It also included the three point attachment pins which was an unexpected added bonus. It is a well made, solid and heavy duty pine straw rake which is exactly what I wanted. I initially ordered one from another manufacturer however it arrived in multiple pieces with no ability to send me the necessary replacement parts. They did me a favor, I sent the remains of what was shipped to me back to them and ordered this one, I am delighted at the outcome.

Item works really good like expected. If you're trying to find out if this is for you imagine yourself using a steel heavy rake and then using a flexible leaf rake by hand. This is more like the flexible leaf rake and a landscape rake is more like a steel heavy rake. It is way easier on your lawn as far as skiving off dirt and making bare spots like a landscape rake does. I have used both on my lawn and it just depends on the job you want to do. This is more than good to clean your lawn up in the spring and to clean leaves up.

I compared this with another amazon product and the reasons I chose this one is because it weighed 100 lbs vs. 54 lbs which meant it was heavier duty, it came in one full length vs. bolting 2 halves together, and you can buy replacement tines were I couldnt find any for the other brand
