I don't know what I expected but this doesn't form fit the contours of my car so it just scrapes off two inch strips of water at a time. I think using a powerful blower is the only way to go with black cars.

Works well, but beware That if you use it the clar must be dust free. Be careful on black lacquer areas because it may scratch if there is any dust present. Best on windows and body. Very satisfied
