Key features

  • LIGHTING FOR SMART HOME - Turn the lights on/off, dim to the desired light level and set up schedules using the Sengled Element Home app (iOS and Android).  Element hub is required.
  • WORKS WITH SMART HOME PLATFORMS: Connect the bulbs directly to Amazon Echo Plus, SmartThings or Wink hubs and add lighting control to your smart home.
  • VOICE CONTROL: Connect Element bulbs to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant and control your lights via voice commands to turn on/off, adjust brightness and more.  Element hub is required to connect both voice services.   Only the Amazon Echo Plus device allows for direct connection.
  • CONTROL AT HOME OR AWAY: Control your lights remotely or set the lights to turn on before you get home in the evening. And, if you forget to turn off the lights, just turn them off using the app.
  • ENERGY EFFICIENT: Energy Star certified. And, because Element LED bulbs save 80% energy compared to incandescent lighting, monitor electricity use (kWh) and watch the savings add up in Performance section of the Element Home app.

Overall, they work.

These do not require the Sengled hub.

These work with Amazon's Echo Plus. You will not be able to connect more than 4 without putting them into pairing mode (flip the light switch on 10 times quickly, they should start blinking, shut the light off, click "discover devices" than turn it back on). This will fix that problem 100%.

This ARE dimmable. "Dimmer incompatible" refers to sliding switches. You will not be able to dim with a dimmer switch, but through Alexa and the App, you definitely can. Out of 10 I'm using, all 10 have a decent range. They are not 1,2,3,4,5% like the phillips hue, but they are fairly functional. Probably 5% per step.

IF YOU PLAN TO USE WITH Sengled HUB: Don't. Their software is garbage, look at the reviews on the app store. There are 3 separate apps, and they all have about 2.5/5 rating for a reason. If you get it to work, don't forget your password as it WILL NOT send you a password reset link.

Customer service is subpar at best.

Setup description and details on how to get it to go into pairing mode or resetting them is 0/10 as there is no details included and the website makes this information hard to find.

Overall: If you really can't afford Phillips Hue, or want Daylight smart bulbs like me - you can use these. They're very cheap, and fully functional. I've got them in every room (until Phillips Hue comes out with a daylight bulb).

I'm not upset I bought them, as they are CHEAP and with CHEAP stuff you have to work harder. These are a pain to setup (if using more than 4 with Alexa). What do you expect?

Very bright and had to dim quite a bit. You have to purchase a hub to use, but it connects very easily. We control our Sengled system with both the Android application and Alexa. I also used the timer system while we were out of town, which was easy and made me feel better about leaving the house unattended. I would definitely recommend, but maybe a lower wattage.
Pretty Impressed with these Bulbs

Pretty Impressed with these Bulbs. I use the Wink Hub 2, and these Bulbs are Dimmable which is a +. Something also Nice is that, a Lamp can still be turned on Manually even if the Bulb was turned off from the APP.
Not...awful.

They're not bad. They work well. I've been using mine for about a month. On the whole, they work just fine. They have some periodic issues. In my bedroom, one of the 4 bulbs doesn't turn on once in a while . I unscrew it, screw it back in, and it works fine. They don't have the fluidity that a phillips hue bulb has. However...they're still not bad. I would buy them again, even with these issues. They are good bulbs. I just wouldn't say, 5 stars good.
Lowest price for high quality smart bulbs

These bulbs provide the same light and remote function as Philips, Cree, Sylvania, etc bulbs do, but costing at least 20% than the more famous brands. I opted for the daylight bulbs, and they produce a nice bright white light, with smooth dimming/brightening. These are not tunable, or variable color, but they do exactly what a light bulb should do: effectively light up a room without distorting colors like the warmer bulbs do (especially in photos).
