I received this as a gift. I travel to a new craft brewery pretty much every other weekend. This is a great item to have for my lifestyle. It gives me an opportunity to have a growler filled with a new beer and still enjoy the ability of having it served as a draft. Adding the CO2 allows the beer to remain carbonated and not get that flat dull taste like drinking from a standard growler.
The assembly was simple. It did require an adjustable wrench to make sure all the fittings were tight. And 'No'... it had no leaks. The quality is amazing and everytime I sit it on a bar at a brewery waiting for it to be filled, there is always someone asking about it.
It really makes a great gift for those craft beer drinkers that you know.

I used to brew my own beer and would carbonate in bottles. I always wanted a keg system but never had the space for a full size keg fridge. This little guy is a blast to use. It holds 64oz and is the same size as the growlers most of my local breweries use. As long as it's cleaned out, I can bring it in and get it filled while I wait. Then, I can add the co2 in with the 16g cartridges and my beer stays carbonated during its transport home and while it sits in the fridge.
Assembly was straight forward and only took about 10 minutes. Make sure to buy the threaded co2 cartridges as the ones you may have used in your old BB gun are not the same as these. So far I have gone through two full 64oz mini-kegs and I still have co2 left in the same cartridge, although I'm not sure how much. A downside to this is when it runs out, you may not know until it's just out! I also wish the stainless steel was double wall vacuum insulated for longer lasting cold temps. The neoprene sleeve it comes with does help to keep things cold. All in all, this is a fun little keg and it sure is the talk of the party.
