Typical switching power supply
Michael S✓ Verified Purchase•August 21, 2023
Purchased to power a portable Shortwave Radio. This power supply is a switching power supply and produced broadband noise that Desensed the received signal across all bands. Radio came alive when power on batteries. Found an old linear wall wart power supply and now use that for the radio without any problem. Bottom line: This supply is good for an application for any application not involving a radio.
Worked perfectly for my Steam Link

I fished out my old Steam Link and couldn't find the adapter anywhere, nothing I owned had the right plug or V/A for it, and I was weary of this one because of the price, it was super cheap. Came in and I tested it with a multimeter and read perfectly, so I plugged in the Steam Link and it's running like new!
The Power Adapter is a good buy for the money

The power adapter is easy to use and a good buy. However, you will need to turn the dial on the adapter with a screwdriver to 12v. Otherwise it will not work. Turning the dial to 12v is a simple task to do. Once done, it works well and will meet your needs.
It's okay.

I like it but I have to tape it a certain way for it to work.
Works, IF you ste correct Voltage

I got this as a replacement for frayed OEM charger.
It works as advertised. Setup was easy, there are plenty of plugs fittings of different sizes and tool to adjust voltage is included.
Few tips:
- make sure tip will fit in the device.
- make sure you set voltage to proper level - orange ARROW must point in direction of desired voltage.
- charger WATTAGE (AMPERES x VOLTAGE) must be AT LEAST what device requires i.e. if your device draws 30 Watts, charger should be AT LEAST 30 Watts (preferably more) or it will overheat and fail, possibly starting fire!
