I've now had five of these. The spring eventually weakens and the case no longer stays securely closed. My most recent one only lasted 3 months.
I am moving on to a different one. Hopefully better. Too bad because I really like the size and shape of this case. Unfortunately it is not made to last.

Nice case. The lining is a felt-like fabric that does not have any cushioning, but seems adequate. It has a long 3" piano hinge and does a very good job of staying closed. It can't be longer, because the case is contoured. The form and fit is very accurate, so you're not going to get any dust or foreign particles into this case. A tight fit for a pair of eyeglasses would be ones that are about 5-1/2" L x 2" W x 1'1/2" H. All but the largest eyeglasses are going to fit.
I like that there is a selection of colors. I chose the maroon color, because the color is unlike most items that I have around the house or my in car, and I can find it easily. And it works!

Very disappointed in this product. Only lasted 4 months and then the hinge gave out. I had bought this to replace a case I had for at least 7 years before it started showing signs of wearing out. I wasn't hard on this, and never dropped it. Extremely poor quality seems to have become the norm for products available from Amazon.

How do you use the word amazing for an eyeglass case? I guess you can't , but this case is pretty darn good! Perfect shape and size for reading glasses. Inside is a firm felt-like surface that snug contours are great for readers and a spare glass wipe. The hinges are spring loaded which keeps them closed snugly. I sat on these today, and although I wouldn't recommend all 300 pound guys to do this, this case held up just fine. Please keep in mind that these are slim cases and may not be the best choice for bulkier "Oakley" style glasses. Would gladly recommend, Hope this helps.

Metal case with the spring hinge that snaps closed. The inside has a plastic lining with a velvet-like texture. I like the subtle color of the lustrous finish and it seems well made. Only thing I don't like is it is so symmetrical and smooth that I can't tell by touch which side is which. It should have a little indent or ridges to give your fingers something to grip at the part that opens.
