did not rate the longevity as i just received the product. this is a nice bright bulb and will likely suit the needs of those who purchase it. its much brighter than the 35w bulbs that seem to be the brightest available at the hardware stores. its definitely not 100w equivalent, so if you NEED a 100w bulb brightness dont buy it. its still a great deal for 3 bulbs and suited my needs just fine. only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the misleading brightness. will likely buy again if needed
