I took this because tamarind has been shown to help the body rid itself of fluoride-which among other things, I understand can calcify your pineal gland. This calcification supposedly affects sleep because the the pineal gland produces melatonin which helps you go to sleep and sleep well. So I gave it a try and sure enough, after a couple of weeks"”if that long"”I was sleeping much more deeply. I remember sleeping very soundly as a child and slowly losing that ability as I grew older. For most of my adulthood, my sleep has felt very "shallow" and restless, and not terribly restorative. I am now getting that deep sleep again and it is amazing. I recommend the product for this purpose.
