Best sound restoration and polish for the money

I am editing my review because I have a more useful review than my first impressions. First, I should tell you that I use studio monitors for my TV, and music and everything. That may give me some advantage. I'd recommend that too, actually. Anyway, I said "I was disappointed that it changes the EQ so much. If I wanted an EQ, I would have bought an EQ". Now, I know that no EQ could do what this does. It restores each frequency in a different way to please the ear. And that's it's only disadvantage, if you're a studio engineer. You get used to this greatness, then without it, everything sound bad.
Anyway, it's the best sound restoration and polish you can get for the money. Besidess, if it's too much, it's adjustable. It makes everything sound better. As a home theater device, it's the best money you can spend. I said before, "I expected it to increase the stereo separation and clarify highs." It does these and adds clarity and control to the bass below 40 Hz, not like an EQ, but better. It never loses control down there. It's as if it boosts it and then compresses it at the same time, but more real. I can't imagine how it does this. It restores highs, not just EQs them. I'm beginning to think it learns from what goes through it. If 10khz is where it cuts off, it assumes these sounds from 9,500 to 10,000 are cymbals and vocal sibilence, so it generates another octave of harmonics to what's there, and then smoothes it out so it sounds natural. The result is not an EQ but a restoration and a shiny polish. I suppose I could write a thesis but the main point is that I'm really impressed with what it does, however it does it. I don't want to part with it, not ever. It's a huge upgrade to your home stereo, home theater or TV sound. It's a bargain. If you don't have good speakers, they sent some headphones with it so you can hear what it does. Even with average speakers, you'll be very impressed. With good speakers, you'll be even more impressed. It'll spoil you in no time and you'll never want to part with it. That's the only downside. If you're a studio engineer, it'll spoil your ear. Without it, you'll think everything sounds awful. For the rest of us, just get it and enjoy this. You gotta hear it to understand what I'm trying to say. I hope my edited review is more helpful. It was a lot of change all at once. Now I want to know how 2 of them would sound in series. It's on my wishlist. It'd make a good gift.

I have been itching to buy this item I was just afraid that it wont do anything good with my 2 Mackie thump 15,but was i wrong about it,and it just didnt make it clear sound but this time you can hear the high and lows very well. Also with the price of more than 50%off the price you cant beat it.Now i have my system what it needs and i am very satisfied with this product and if you have a powered speaker buy it its really a must to have this.
