Really cleans up my countertop

I heard about this from my sister in Denver, who met the people that got this into production. She liked hers and this sounded like something to try. I was tired of moving my echo around when I cleaned the countertops, and this thing does the trick very nicely. I see some are concerned about the look of the plastic. It didn't strike me as the best material, but I think it looks fine on my wall under the cabinets in the kitchen. I don't understand why people rate it only 1 star for the material. Seems a bit harsh.

It has this dummy ground plug to make it fit more snugly into the outlet as they describe it as a feature. The fact is that with mine it sags in the outlet. It's not a huge problem, but I wish it it mounted a little more solid. For the money, I would buy it again.

This is a well thought out product. I like the way it locates my Echo dot up to the wall instead of sitting on a counter taking up space and having the cord all over the place. It's little short little plug eliminates the original cord and wall adapter and sits clean and neatly on our outlet. The dot slips right in and clips into the holder securely. Mic picks up voice just as it did before and I don't notice any reduction in speaker volume either. Really glad I got this!

This is exactly what I needed. I recently purchase the Dot for my bathroom. I have a plug next to my freestanding bathtub. This is perfect to hide the Dot. works great. no wiring clutter. it has a fake plastic prong for where the ground would be. If you need to mount this upside down, which I did, that fake plastic "prong" will snap right off. Snapping it off will, however, take a little bit away from the stability of the mount, which I fixed with a tiny piece of Velcro. Great item, and it does leave the other outlet open.
