This product is great for sticky candy. I used to use gold foil to wrap caramels but the foil stuck and would only come off in pieces. These wrappers work great and they come off in one piece. The only issue I had was getting the sheets apart at times. Still worth it!

How large the piece should be before wrapping

I needed wrappers for home made caramels but I did not know what size caramels needed to be based on how I wanted to wrap the candies. I suggest cutting caramels just about the size of store bought candies. If too large you can't completely wrap or successfully twist the ends closed! Too bad, just gotta eat those over sized ones!
