DANGER. Unsafe for climbing. Based upon the available information this rope does not meet safety standards to be used to support your life. Products designed to support your life go through rigorous testing and have a minimum rope breaking strength of 5,400 pounds and abrasion resistance. The quality control of this rope is also likely lower than that of professional gear. Your Life is not worth $20

Let us just say i know a bit about climbing . . . this seems a wonderful rope but it is a static ( non-dynamic ) rope. this makes it totally unsuitable for climbing activities ! ! ! Someone who knows climbing gear would never portray this and anyone relying on a static rope for climbing type activities is guaranteed a serious injury or death.
The clips are definitely NOT for climbing, i have no issue with the rope itself or seller or clips ; except that it says it is safe for recreational activities like climbing. This rope is totally unrated and not suitable for human weight activities, the spring clips are totally unsafe also for human movement activities.
This seems a great rope for many reasons, but it is going to get you injured if you use it for any sort of vertical work. thus the description and photos are dangerously misleading in the extreme ! ! !

I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box with this rope. At first, I thought the company had messed up and sent me the more expensive version of what I had ordered. I couldn't believe that I had gotten this for the price I did. I figured the carabiners would have been crappy or the rope wouldn't have been attached well... something. But this is great. I bought a grappling hook with it and I've used it a few times on my property. I haven't gone climbing with it, but I have been swinging around on it like a weirdo. My girlfriend tried jumping on my back and swinging with me too and there was no problem. Obviously I didn't think the rope itself was going to snap, but I was making sure that the carabiners didn't come loose or anything. Everything is still perfectly intact. I weigh 190 and my girl weighs about 130. I don't think I'm supposed to type what she weighs, but she's in wicked good shape, so I doubt she cares. Anyway, I think this is definitely worth the price.
