Perfect tent setup!!
High Low✓ Verified Purchase•July 7, 2018
Took this tent on 100 section hike on the AT. Performed better than I had hoped for by far! Rained like crazy and the tent stayed dry; didn't rain proof bc manufacturer said it didn't need it. They were 100% right! The included footprint was great to have for ground protection from dampnesss and punctures. Plenty of room for sleeping and all my gear. Can't say enough good things about it!! No need to spend huge $, this tent is it!!
First and last tent.....

The tent is light and easy to erect for one person. Includes a footprint! I bought this tent for a "can't believe I was talked into this bike bike" event where we are carrying everything (tent, sleeping bag, pad, clothes, food, etc) on our bikes. I'd never done anything like this before and at 70+ yrs old, didn't plan on it, ever. So, quality and size and ease of use mattered a bunch! For a $100, I couldn't be more pleased.... but you know, nothing is perfect even tho I have no specific complaints. Recommended.
dont get me wrong its a nice tent, but its a bit heavy for 2p ...

dont get me wrong its a nice tent, but its a bit heavy for 2p to back pack with. i took it out with my GF for a over night hike camp in southern CA, its worked fine, could use a few improvements, the footprint is not that lightweight and also doesn't extend to meet the gear storage area, which i think would be nice. also the very top "clip" that connects the tent to the poles. only fit on 1 pole... kinda strange, knida make for an uneven pull on the structure, but it ok i guess, just seems stange they didnt put a larger clip or hook type clip at the very top to clip onto both pole where they cross. i have a similiar Alps mountaineering tent that does that. the reflective zippers were nice, and so was the gear pockets on the side. i didnt use the guy lines, so it was a bit noisy with very light wind gust. still debating on weather or not i will return. also i ordered the blue and got the BRIGHT GREEN which is kind of annoying.
Like every tent

Lightweight for a two-person tent. Spacious and durable. Like every tent, keep the rain cover off the netting during a rain storm and you will stay dry. The rain cover is completely waterproof but when raining, the condensation builds up and can cause water droplets to fall into the tent. this means there is no airflow inside the tent. Make sure the vents are open and the rain cover is taut and you will stay dry.
Value: Light, quick setup. Bonus groundcloth.

It is what it says it is. Honest company providing a valuable product at a beginner's cost that impresses the seasoned backpackers.
I also have both long versions of their light Eolus bags.
Also impressed with their emailed care instructions followup, way more lasting than a snip-it of scrap paper.
