Great tent, highly recommended!

Bottom line - this is a great tent. The build quality of this tent really impressed me. I must have read over 100 reviews when deciding which one to purchase. The great reviews I found over and over for this model and for this company really drew me in. The customer videos are what clenched it for me - so thank you to those that uploaded the videos!
This tent held up really well on my first adventure with it. Temps were mild, we stayed nice and dry during a short rain storm, and the winds were pretty hectic the first night. Despite that, setting it up was super simple and quick, even in the wind. Once the guy-lines were hooked up, I barely heard the tent flapping at all during the night - only during the heaviest gusts. It really is a nice design with the two chambers and doorways. The interior is surprisingly spacious, given the weight and size of it fully packed up. There was enough room for me and my lady (I'm 5' 11" and she's 5' 6") plus both of our bags (a full-sized backpacking pack and a smaller hiking backpack). This was important to her, to have room to keep our gear inside the tent while we slept, to avoid ticks or spiders getting in our packs during the night. Mission accomplished.
Pros:
- the included tent footprint is awesome to have
- build quality is superb (sealed seems internally to be water tight)
- spacious interior plus two chambers external to the tent to keep things out of the rain
- fairly well-vented (never got too hot even for a late afternoon nap during an 80 degree day)
- super lightweight tent spikes
- included spike press
- ridiculously simple to set up, with the single tent pole design
cons:
- a little heavier than other lightweight tents when you bring everything along, but great when split between two hikers
- not the coolest looking tent, but that was never my deal-breaker
Overall - great tent, and I highly recommend it to others on the fence. I can't count the number of times my girlfriend said "I love this tent" during our maiden voyage with it.

Not for serious hikers / backpacking

Easy to put up and take down. Very light and nice pole design. Material is very thin, does not have a high quality feel. It looked cheap next to the REI Half Dome 2 I camped next to. Sewing of the tent was sloppy, unfinished edges and not very clean. See photos. Bag is too small and very hard to repack. Look for a better brand if this purchase is for serious backpacking.
5 stars, but know that...

I purchased this tent for an adult going on Scout campouts. It has room for one person in all reality. 2 could fit in, but not comfortably. I knew this before hand so this was not a concern for me. The tent is the perfect amount of space for one person with larger gear in the vestibules. I put this tent to the test. First, I submitted it to high winds and cold temperatures. With all the guylines, and the vestibule button loops employed for guylineage, the tent withstood 35-40 mph sustained winds with frequent 70 mph gusts. One of the button loops started to pull free but managed to hang on until the end of the 3 day camp. The temperatures were below freezing at night with high soil moisture leading to condensation freezing on the inside of the tent and dew freezing solid on the outside of the tent. The vent windows in the fly do not stay open under these conditions because the stay is not ridged enough to stay unfolded under natural forces. The next testing trip for this tent was during heavy rains in high humidity. The velocity of the raindrops hitting the fabric of the fly caused micro drops coming thru to the inside such that I could feel the drops but they were not large enough to make me more than just damp. Because the temperatures were hot and muggy, I was damp anyway. At the time I just growled and went to sleep and put up with it. However, again I found that ventilation was limited and I wanted the fly vents to stay open, but they could not under the impact of the down pour. I have not yet tried this tent out in a not too deep flooding environment. As I camp all year round, I am sure I will get the chance to try it out. I have done so with every other tent I have owned. Bathtub flooring, and tapped seams - even on the corners where the fly clips and stake webbing is - is the best way to remain dry in such situations. I do not know yet how well this tent will do with the corners under water. So far, overall, I have given this tent a good test run and have been very pleased. I am going to buy another if I can find a larger sized one. It is not heavy for the money, and has great durability. I am very happy. I just have to figure out how to solve the fly vent and micro drop issue. I have a larger ultralight tent from a different manufacturer and that one has stiff stays on the fly vents, and the fly material is silicon permeated. I wonder if I could retrofit this tent with these 2 features. I also plan to get old fashioned liquid seam sealer and treat the floor corners just in case. This is the best tent quality I have found for the money. THE OTHER THING THAT TENT BUYERS SHOULD BE AWARE OF IS: Because of the engineering of this tent, it allows the tent to be broken down in the rain. Here is what I mean. During a day long deluge, I packed up my gear and put it in the vestibule. I then got into the vestibule myself and unhooked the tent body from the poles while leaving the fly in place. I transferred the tent stakes to the fly, unhooking the tent body and the foot print, leaving the fly in place overhead. I then packed up the tent and foot print. I put my tent in my pack, put my pack rain cover on my pack then my rain gear on myself, then I got out of the fly and packed it up wet and strapped it on top of my packs rain cover. I then had a dry tent to set up that night with only a wet fly to worry about. Because of the way this tent is engineered, this is a very easy process to do.
Everything you need!

I got this tent last week and have already taken it on one adventure with a second coming up this weekend. I LOVE the design of this tent and so far it seems like it's very well made. It's an easy setup/tear down and have everything I want and need in a tent. The two-door entry with vestibules on each side are fantastic, even if you're using it on your own and don't need to crawl over anyone else to get outside. The vents on each side are also super handy and helpful when you need a little extra breeze. The detachable gear loft PLUS gear pockets on each side corner give me plenty of room to store books, head lamps, phones, etc. I can't wait to keep using this.
Best tent I've owned yet.

This tent was amazing. It is easy to set up and take down and I like that everything easily fits back into the bag. It was much roomier on the inside then it looked. The middle hammock thing (i have no idea what they are called and no desire to seem smarter by figuring it out either) where you can set some items like phones and keys was great. The best part was that it was absolutely 100% waterproof. We camped in a doozy of a storm with blowing rain and lots of rain to wake up pleasently surprised that not a single drop was inside. Having two doors, one on each side was great to. I highlt recommend this tent. There isn't one thing I could say i disliked about it and thats rare for me.
