I was searching on Amazon for mooring whips I found General Marine. Looked like a great product but they had some negative reviews. So I called them to see what they had to say. I spoke to their General Mgr. Sam he said last year they redesigned the pole coupling using industrial epoxy adhesive and larger set screws. The customer that claims the bases broke admitted he left the dock without untying the bases and ripped them right off the dock. Many other reviews where positive so I made my purchase. I installed them (bolts were included) in about an hour. The instructions were easy to follow, and so far I am very pleased. I have my 34ft Center Console on them and they do exactly what I wanted, and at a good price! I highly recommend them to my friends and anyone looking for a quality Mooring system at a fair price.
