Nice distribution of DE inside and 50/50 DE/powdered sugar outside

I could tell looking at the cheap plastic dusters that came with some of the DE packages that they would hurt my hands to use repeatedly.
Once I looked around, I felt like this was the only well-made duster. It DEFINITELY is well made! There isn't a cheap part on it. After we were done we even let my toddler have some time to play with it with plain powdered sugar, and it survived just fine.
Someone else told me they put 50% DE / 50% powdered sugar OUTSIDE and plain food grade DE inside the house. We tried this and after applying it a week ago we haven't seen any ants at all. This duster worked great for applying the plain DE inside (first, so as not to mix any ant food into the inside mixture inadvertently), and it also worked great for doing the 50/50 mix.
Also, it came with directions how to actually do this DE stuff. I had no idea what I was doing, just that I am 9 months pregnant and didn't want to use chemicals! So, thanks for that, Dr. Killigan's. :)

Excellent quality of product. Very glad that I went with this over another plastic one that I was looking at.
The rubber base is very comfortable and the metal parts of the product feel very solid and well built. The entire product feels like it has a lot of quality.
One point that I would like to make is that if you have very large areas to cover, try to get the next size up from this model. I had to refill it more then 4 times, and since I poured it directly from the bag into the product using the funnel that comes with it, it was a hassle. Either put the diatomaceous earth into a smaller container, or get a bigger model if this is a problem for you.
I thank the Dr. Killigan's team for providing a well built product in a sea of cheaper ones.

This is a very high quality item. I seriously was expecting something cheap. But the materials used are high grade metal and rubber. As to how it works.....perfectly. Just do as Dr. Killagan requests in the instructions and add a ball bearing or a couple washers or metal nuts to mix up the DE in the container.
I tried it yesterday on an ant hill next to my driveway and within a few hours the whole colony was gone. You can vary the amount of powder discharge from the unit by varying your hand pressure. I mean c'mon y'all. It's a rubber bulb with a metal tube. It's not too hard to understand but it does work as advertised.
Kudos to them for follow up emails checking in on how the consumer likes the product. I had a small issue wth the unit and it was quickly resolved. Great customer service!

I don't know what to say about something like this other than it is a solid product. The rubber bulb is thick, but flexible and the brass nozzle should outlast me. They also included a small plastic funnel and plastic extension hose, both of which I've already put to good use. This is a great package if your in the need to apply insecticidal dust. I used it with DE and haven't had any problems.

Durable and well made. I wish it had a longer extension, but the one that's included is a good length. My only problem was it had clogged and I had to take a wire to unclog. I left it sit in the garage over the summer with powder in it, so I'm guessing the humidity caused it to clog. It's not doing it now that the temperature and humidity has dropped. I have to shake the contents after each spray, but not sure if that's a problem with the bulb or powder. It generates a good puff of smoke that penetrate my areas well, but it's a very fine powder so I feel I have to do it twice to get enough chemicals into my area I'm spraying. I'm happy with it, but never owned another brand to know how this one compares. The seller also sent several emails letting me know how to use it.
