Incredable addition to my Traeger..Traeger burn very clean at 250 or higher...not enough smoke flavor(for me). This tube puts smoke out for 4+ hours. Good for steaks. Also turn off the Traeger and use the smoke tube on one side and put cheese on the other..smoked cheese w/o the melting or oiling. My pro 34 did 8 lbs at a time.
Tube is a bit hard to light and get going..just propped open the lid with a clothes pin to let air to the tube. Still learning. Having fun.

I finally got a chance to use this thinger over the weekend. Smoked some grade A grocery store bought cheese on discount. Slightly expired cheese some would say. Took the moldy smell clean away from it! Easy to use with a small or large propane torch to get er goin.

I love this smoker tube so far! The square tube seems stout enough to hold up over time; obviously time will tell. The stainless steel discolored upon first use but that's no concern to me. The important thing is that it holds pellets that produce good smoke, and this product is 100% on target. Using a propane torch to light the pellets was easy, and they lasted a good 3+ hours in this box. The pellets caught on fire once during the burn, but I quickly doused it with a small squirt of water. That's no fault of the smoker tube. This one is less expensive than several others that look identical, so I recommend going for it!
