I bought this item because I love mine this is just a different color. There was a difference mine hooks to places that are on the chair this one I had to put screws in places that this one was suppose to hook to. They stain and are waterproof if you get the water off quickly. The good thing they can be washed.

I ordered this cover for my brother's lift chair. I have been using flat full size sheets to cover the chair, which every time he moved would pull them down off the back of the chair to where he was sitting on a wad of material - I was constantly having to reset the cover on his chair. I order the "easy-going recliner chair slipcover" in the medium size or 21-23 inches in Christmas red/green (his favorite). I do recommend taking measurements of your chair and compare them to the measurements of the cover, because I was surprised I needed to order the "medium" size cover since his chair was sold as an oversize (extra large) lift chair. The medium size fit perfectly. The back will stay in position all day/night long. I have not had to reset the cover at the top at all! This cover comes with 4 elastic straps at the four corners of the seat (see pictures). According to the directions it tells you to tie the elastic straps to the hooks at the bottom of the recliner. My brother's chair did not have hooks at the bottom - I guess because it is a lift chair and not just a recliner. So, I have no way to secure the seat using the elastic straps, but that part for us is not that big of a problem. When he gets up from the chair I usually rearrange the arms and straighten the seat and that is it, at least I do not have to reset the entire cover as I did when using the sheets. I do recommend this cover and I will be ordering another one so I will have a replacement when one is in the wash.
