For the longest time my foot has been sore on the side. I recently moved which took a toll on my already sore foot. For days I would wake up with a super tender foot and what seemed like a pinched nerve starting in my foot and running up up to my knee. So much pain I could cry. I have worn this brace for the past three days while I paint my new house (which requires a lot up of up and down). What a massive difference after three days... nerve pain is almost gone. I purposely didn't do anything else to ease the pain as I wanted to test the product. Glad to have this on hand now as my tender sore foot is permanent due to my brittle bones.

The product does what is advertised - that is, it definitely stabilizes your foot and ankle. I do however wonder how anyone with larger sized feet and ankles can find this bearable for any length of time. I bought the XL size for my husband, who wears a size 13 or 14 shoe but whose legs are slim and athletic (i.e. not heavy at all). The "sleeve" part of the brace is just way too tight. (I tried the brace on too, just to see how it would feel on my somewhat smaller foot, women's size 9.5.) It immediately feels like your circulation is getting cut off and your foot becoming numb - especially at the top (similar to how some socks are too tight at the top edge and leave a "ring" imprint around your leg). This might not bother some people, esp. if you really need the stability of a very tight brace, and maybe it would be ok for short periods, but it was really uncomfortably constricting for us, even though the size is marked "XL." The accompanying adjustable velcro bands are very useful though, simply because they CAN be adjusted to your particular foot and your desired degree of compression. I am tempted to keep the product just for the bands (which I guess could be used over socks) but we won't be using the ankle "sleeves."

Bought for child who sprained ankle specifically ATF and CF ligament. Needed something that would give some lateral support. The compression sock itself gives some support then the support straps provide teh additional support. Apply strap using the figure 8 method shown on the amazon website. Surprisingly it is listed as a Free Bonus, but do not think the ankle sleeve itself is effective w/o the straps. DO NOT apply the velcro to the sleeve/sock itself. It will fray and pull the material apart. Other than that does what is supposed to do. It does allow movement, but gives quite a bit of support w/ mobility.

I love these feet compressions. I didn't realize i was getting 2. These are amazing. I had a tore Achilles so i had to have a surgery and just got out of the boot. This is amazing. Will order again so i can have extra bc i will have to wear a foot compression for a very long time. Recommend anyone to order if u had a surgery or really bad injury. My foot came out of a cast and a boot and ordered a medium and it was very tight which was just right bc u do not want it to be loose. You need that stability. Especially if its weak its gonna help give it that support it needs and the bands helps it more but don't put it on the sock but it can be wrapped so it want go on the sock. Works just like a high price dont go spend all your money on those. Good luck everyone.

I need powerful support at 250 lbs and old age. These are good for daily walking. I had to go more structural for disc golf, basketball, and volleyball.
