Nice beautiful clock but has some short comings.

The clock is beautiful with the blue LEDs. The brightness is good and you can dim it. Didnt care for the time projection because I have to put on my glasses to read it, but looking at the clock is good with the large LEDs. I wish the power cord was 5 feet like all the other clocks I have had. This one is short, maybe 3 feet. The radio is not good, reception is spotty but for close stations its ok. The speaker is awful. My iPhone sounds better and with the digital volume control you cant adjust it very well, even the lowest volume setting (1) is too loud for me when you want some soft music to fall asleep to. You set value 1 to 10, something like that. No in between settings like an analog control. Anyway, what I really dislike is the alarm. When it goes off, you press a button and it stops till the same time the next day. However, I may not be home to use it the next day or the next day may be a weekend. In order to deactivate the alarm fully, you have to press many buttons, like example, press the buttons scroll thru ALM1-hour-min-radio-buzzer-on/off then ALM2-hour-min-radio-buzzer-on/off to set the alarms off. something like that. Thats 13 button presses to activate or deactivate the alarms. EVERY MORNING I have to do this so it dont go off the next morning if I am not here, then the same to set the ALM1 on at night. Its really annoying. I just want a switch, or button, to turn on or off the alarm like my current clock. Just turn off when you wake up, and switch on when you go to sleep. These are my opinions. Thank you.
Legible and easy to read, but can't rotate the projection sideways

Wasn't thrilled at first because you can't rotate the projection, only move it higher or lower. So I couldn't have the clock face the bed and have the projected image in reading position overhead. Instead I had to place the clock facing into the room. But once I got it into position, I started liking it more than I expected. The large size of the numbers on the face of the clock is great for those reading from across the room, and you can adjust the brightness. The projected time is very legible on my wood-paneled ceiling.
Great lighting that you can adjust.

This the best clock ever. I have the projection facing my side wall and it is great. I am a person who has to know the time. Now I just open my eyes and see it and go back to sleep. Don't even have to roll over. It's great if you have back problems.

Excellent main screen digit size and projection is clear with only the digits showing (no surrounding light, just the clear digits). The projection can be turned off and has two brightness settings. The main screen also has brightness settings. not any more difficult to set up than any modern digital clock. I would have appreciated larger text size for the instruction pamphlet, it is like a 4 point type; just readable with 20/20. We like the clean modern look of this clock. No comment on the FM radio as we do not have any reception. The USB charge capability is only 1.2 A at 5W so not really that important for more recent smart phones although it will likely slow charge them. All in all; very pleased with this bedside clock.
BTW: the clock I received has a setting selection for 24 or 12 Hour formats. I almost did not purchase this clock because some reviewers claimed it was not an option. It is!

It is a good clock radio and the projection is clear. The only issue is the alarm; it does not have a weekday only option and turning on the alarm is not as simple as flipping a switch.
