I bought this hat for my Halloween costume. I wear a size 7 1/8 baseball cap and size medium for like a glove. The color of the hat that I ordered was "˜black'. The hat wasn't pitch black more of a dark charcoal black. Which was perfect and was exactly what I needed for my costume. The material it's made looks and feels of great quality. I most definitely recommend the product.

The hat's construction is first rate; stitching is tight; the quilted lining is very warm during cold weather and the wool material is first class. The size my hat was medium, I wear a 7-1/4, and is slightly smaller than it should be for it's size. I'd recommend ordering a one size larger for better comfort. It is priced very competitively and the traditional frontal center snap brim is very authentic (I have an original from an antique store in my hat collection). The only styling flaw is the height of the crown which is to flat; there should have been a greater height than there is. Overall, it is a great hat for the price.
