Typical Yost Quality. Not too big and clunky but not wimpy either. Nice balance and well made. Threads were flawless and you can clamp it down real hard if needed. Most Yost clamps and vice products are underpriced against the competition. This is no exception.

Using these around the house and they are amazing! Wish I would have had them a long time ago! I've used them to straighten boards, change brakes, clamp sheets of wood together for gluing, and tons of other things. I'd recommend the 6" version though, as 5" is really tight on some things (2x4 clamped to a 4x4, changing truck brakes, etc).

I bought this clamp for odd situations with various wood working projects, but it has ended up doing much more including compressing caliper pistons for brake jobs. Like most imported C clamps, it needed some lube on the threads to free spin smoothly. Other than that, it a versatile life saver well worth the money.
