Bought these to lock my gear bag at the firehouse. Once I understood that the code is read from the spine of the lock and not the front face shown in pictures, everything made sense. Now I don't have to worry about the jr's messing with my stuff. I'm sure they'll work for luggage as well.

I liked the fact that there four wheels. I felt that this feature made them more secure! However, I was not able to customize the combination even though I tried for more than a half an hour! Therefore I will be returning the locks.

Great luggage locks! I like the 4 digit combo lock and I think it's better than the 3 digit. However, remember to scramble your combo after locking. I didn't do that and after my flight, I reconnected with my luggage and my lock was totally gone. Its a bit heavy (non issue for luggage weight), but feels durable. Having a bright, non black lock is perfect for quickly location your luggage also.

I like this MUCH better than other luggage combination locks that I've used.
1) a 4-digit combination is 10x more secure than a 3-digit combination
(although let's face it -- an aggressive thief can easily cut the lock if s/he wants)
2) I can actually READ these high-contrast white-on-black numbers,
even without my reading glasses on!!!! That alone is a huge advantage.
(the ones with "silver" combination dials are VERY hard to read)

I purchased these TSA Luggage Locks (2 Pack) in Yellow, for my upcoming trip. The locks appear very sturdy and are a little heavy. The lock combination is easy to set. Numbers of the combination are big and bold enough for easy read. I love the bright Yellow color and hope they will help to easily spot my black suitcases on the baggage claim conveyor belt.
